Stream or post Open Vanilla videos? Link your channel to your Open Vanilla account so you are listed here under your name, count for the leaderboard even when a title forgets to say "Open Vanilla", and, if you want, get a ● LIVE mark next to your character in game while you stream.

  1. Sign in on the realm and open the link page: play.openvanilla.app/ow/creator-link.html. Add your Twitch, YouTube, TikTok or Kick channel name. Only the channel name is stored; we never ask for your password or a key to your channel.
  2. Prove it is yours. The page shows your code, like OW-7K2Q9M. Put it anywhere in your Twitch "About" text (or a live title), or your YouTube channel description. Within 15 minutes your card appears here; you can remove the code afterwards. TikTok has no public profile API, so a TikTok channel is listed once you connect it through TikTok's own sign-in (ask on Discord) or staff add it. Kick channels are added by staff on request.
  3. Want the in-game LIVE mark? On the link page, name the character you play and tick "Show me as LIVE". In game, open Social → settings and switch on Show me as LIVE too. Both are off until you turn them on, and others see the mark only while you are actually live.
  4. Changed your mind? Unlink a channel on the same page at any time; it leaves this site at the next refresh (5 minutes). Hand-picked creators can ask staff on Discord to edit their entry.

How the lists are made: a small program on the realm server asks the Twitch and YouTube APIs every 5 minutes for live streams and recent uploads of the linked and hand-picked channels, plus any stream or video whose title mentions Open Vanilla. TikTok videos come only from creators who connected TikTok. Nothing is re-uploaded; thumbnails and players come straight from each platform. The source is tools/streams_fetch.py in the Open Vanilla repository.
